I love hot coffee and dew on the morning flowers, sunrise and rain
Pour a cup of coffee, hear the birds chirping, and step inside my world
I have loved to take photos ever since I can remember; I have always been attracted to those simplistic moments that are filled with so much richness, that silence that speaks for itself, those moments that you just have to breath in and hope to remember for a lifetime. I seek out those moments when I am taking photos, there is so much beauty in them. I studied digital + film photography at Columbia College Chicago, where I spent 4 years of my life either in the darkroom, the studio, or the print lab. While at Columbia I also found my deep love + passion for environmental science, it is where I draw much of my inspiration from. I love to capture you and your loved ones in your most genuine and intimate moments. My photography revolves around the connection between us all.
My passion for taking photos began freshman year of high school, and my love for it only grew as time went on. I went from taking photos of plants and animals, to self portraits, eventually moving to my own clients and developing into Paige Hawn Photography - my career + passion.
IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS.
As a mother myself (tiny human + dog of course), I know how quickly special moments pass us by daily, and I know how hard it can be to stop and remind yourself to be present in the moment with your loved ones. Too often we let the memories slip away through our fingers - it may seem insignificant now but it is so important to capture those memories because one day those little eyes will want to look back on them all.
MY FAMILY
My family - my heart, my soul, my inspiration. My family pushes me to be the greatest version of myself that I can be, as a mother, a photographer, and simply as a human being. Photography, plants, my dog Honey, Jon and Ariel are the building blocks to my life.
I became a mother in 2021 and my entire life changed for the better. I believe that what goes around comes around in life - you get what you give so aside from your photographer I try to be sunshine for anyone having dark days.
